History
The Olson's daughter Jill represents the 5th generation to live on this family farm - a century farm dating back to 1868. The original owner was Eldridge Chesebro. The barn is still used for dairy heifers.

Comments
The quilt block was painted by Daughters, grand daughters –in honor of Dorothy Chesebro (wife of one of the descendants of the original owner – currently resident of the the Pleasant View Nursing Home.) Her daughter Nancy (sister to Jan Olson) says that everyone who got married or graduated got one of Dorothy’s quilts, she won many quilting contests and always took honors for her sewing at the Green County Fair. Dorothy taught sewing in 4-H and was a 4-H leader for 50 years.
